About the Founder
Roni Jensen
Founder, Karaoke Chaos Live
The Coast Guard to Chaos Path
Karaoke Chaos Live was founded by Roni Jensen, a U.S. Coast Guard veteran raised in Chicago. Before creating KCL, Roni worked as a land surveyor and professional truck driver—careers that demanded precision, responsibility, adaptability, and dependable follow-through.
Having experienced promises that produced very little meaningful action, Roni understands the importance of honesty, fairness, accountability, and keeping one’s word. These are not merely company talking points; they are standards that guide how KCL is being built and what is expected from everyone involved.
I didn't start this to build just another cover band. I built KCL for the shower singers and the car singers—to give everyday people the exact same rush that professional musicians feel on stage.
Why KCL Exists
Roni created Karaoke Chaos Live to bring people together through the joy of music—to give talented musicians opportunities to share their abilities and to provide a stage for voices that might otherwise go unheard.
KCL welcomes everyday singers into the experience, allowing them to step forward, be supported by a live band, and feel the excitement of being heard. The vision is to create more than another night of karaoke. It is to build a shared musical experience where performers can grow, venues can offer something distinctive, and people from different backgrounds can connect through music.
What We Expect
KCL is committed to treating musicians, hosts, venues, partners, and guests with fairness and respect. In return, every team member is expected to communicate honestly, honor their commitments, accept responsibility, and extend that same fairness to others.
You bring the voice.
We bring the chaos.
