Code of Conduct
Expectations and guidelines for all Karaoke Chaos Live musicians and hosts.
1. Core Philosophy
At Karaoke Chaos Live, we believe in creating an unforgettable, high-energy experience for every singer and audience member. To achieve this, accountability, responsibility, and a positive attitude are strictly required of all musicians and hosts. We are a team, and our success depends on everyone bringing their best.
2. Professionalism & Attitude
- Positive Energy: Maintain a positive, encouraging, and high-energy attitude at all times, especially when interacting with singers and the audience.
- Respect: Treat all band members, hosts, venue staff, and guests with the utmost respect. Discrimination, harassment, or unprofessional behavior will not be tolerated.
- Adaptability: Live band karaoke is unpredictable. Be prepared to adapt to different singers, tempos, and crowd energies on the fly with a smile.
3. Preparation & Performance
- Know the Material: Musicians are expected to be fully prepared and capable of playing the songs on our master list. Do your homework before the gig.
- Gear: Ensure all your equipment is in good working order before arriving at the venue. Bring necessary backups (strings, cables, sticks, etc.).
- Stage Presence: You are part of a show. Engage with the singer, move around (if your instrument allows), and look like you're having fun.
4. Punctuality & Reliability
- Call Times: Arrive at the venue strictly on or before the designated call time. Setup and soundcheck must be completed efficiently.
- Commitment: Once you commit to a gig, you are expected to follow through. In the event of an absolute emergency, notify management immediately to arrange a sub.
5. Sobriety & Conduct
- Performance Standard: While we want everyone to have fun, you are working. Do not consume alcohol or substances to the point where it impairs your performance, judgment, or professionalism.
- Venue Rules: Adhere to all rules and policies of the venues we perform at. You represent Karaoke Chaos Live at all times.
6. Recording & Media
KCL allows guest, audience, performer, venue, and casual social media recording when the venue permits recording. Recording may be restricted when required by the venue, client, event agreement, safety concern, law, or platform rule. Official commercial recording, broadcast, or live-streaming requires written KCL approval.
